Is your library considering a move to Adobe InDesign software, the current industry standard for desktop publication? inDesign is a great tool for creating everything from professional-looking flyers and brochures to annual reports. This session offers a brief introduction to the InDesign workspace and tools and will provide an opportunity for hands-on experience with the software, using prepared file and image samples to create a basic publication.

LibGuides have captured the attention of the American academic library world. Subject guides like LibGuides are intended to provide access to resources for disciplines or courses to supplement library instruction provided during one-shot sessions or at the reference desk. LibGuides are available to users when and where they are needed. A constant refrain in the literature on subject guides is the workload inherent in their creation and maintenance.
