(RKI) was contracted by K-Friese + Associates (CLIENT), on behalf of San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS) to conduct archaeological monitoring for emergency repairs to a collapsed sewer lateral within West Houston Street in downtown San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. The project involved the excavation of the area around the collapsed portion of the sewer lateral and the replacement of the damaged line. (RKI), was contracted by K Friese + Associates (CLIENT) to conduct cultural resources monitoring investigations for the San Antonio Water Systems (SAWS) Silverhorn Rehabilitation Project in northern San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. The project involved rehabilitating 3,690 linear feet of existing sewer line within the Silverhorn Golf Club, which is within the Walker Ranch National Register District. The majority of the proposed undertaking was conducted by non-invasive methods (i.e., cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP)); however, point repairs involving excavations were conducted in areas where broken pipe was encountered. The Project involves the installation of a 432-foot-long (132-meter [m]-long) fiber-optic communication line directly south of Floyd Curl Drive in northwest San Antonio, Texas. Specifically, the development activities will consist of the construction of weir structures and the re-establishment of contours to meet existing marsh elevations of adjacent wetlands. These testimonies are from two students, a junior woman and an anonymous senior man, who were interviewed on their personal experiences regarding their mental health during quarantine as a result of the Coivd-19 pandemic. The students discussed their mental states both prior to quarantine and after, mentioning the impacts not only on her social life but the exacerbation of previous mental health struggles. Both students describe similar conditions despite their dissimilar experiences, including feelings of isolation and loneliness as a result of the sudden change.
