An eleventh-year group of American history pupils had been placed under my guidance in a nearby High School. Some four or five weeks after undertaking the task of teaching this group, the World War period chronologically made its appearance. Now, it was not my intention to teach the war in terms of battles, victories, territory lost, or territory regained.
