This study aims to analyze the influence of information exposure frequency and communication channel choice on the utilization of SSGI 2024 data. This study used mixed methods, quantitative and qualitative. Data were collected through a survey of 153 respondents, predominantly government officials, and in-depth interviews with 7 key informants. Analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test and source triangulation. The frequency of information exposure was shown to have a significant effect on data utilization (p=0.001), where high exposure increased the likelihood of data utilization by 1.7 times. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to understand and interpret the lived experiences of urban educators who experienced secondary traumatic stress resulting from exposure to the traumatic events of their students. Teachers in urban school settings serve students with high exposure to poverty, violence, and trauma, and these shared experiences often result in the urban educator experiencing secondary traumatic stress (STS). This project utilizes five sediment core samples from the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse archaeological (8PB35) site in northern Palm Beach County, Florida (four core samples derived from areas where cultural material has been found and one core from a nonanthropogenic area). These sediment core samples were analyzed using a variation of a tested charcoal analysis methodology often used with lake and peat bog cores, but in this case, the cores come from an upland coastal environment. Although divine grace, defined as unmerited favor and love given by God, has been linked to favorable psychological outcomes in general samples, it is unclear whether experiencing divine grace protects Christians with same-sex attraction from guilt and shame. The main aims of the paper are to examine the use of derivatives by 13 exchange-traded funds primarily listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange over 2010–2025, including their magnitude and functions, and to identify patterns in derivative use over the past three decades worldwide. The results reveal that derivative use was common among exchange-traded funds listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange; however, it was limited to basic applications. William Howard Taft’s early judicial career has been dismissed by historians and biographers for nearly a century as merely an unimportant preliminary phase before his later political and Supreme Court career. This dissertation challenges that interpretation through a detailed examination of forty-six labor and antitrust-related opinions written by Taft while serving on the Superior Court of Cincinnati and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Although adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) increase risk for mental illness at the population level, existing ACEs screens are less helpful in forecasting individual outcomes, suggesting they may not capture significant elements of childhood adversity. We have previously identified unpredictable parental and household experiences as an ACE that portends poorer cognitive and mental health. However, the contribution of unpredictability to established ACEs in real-world settings is unknown. Some older adults score differently on the same cognitive test from one visit to the next, and that inconsistency has been proposed as an early warning sign of decline. This dissertation tested whether within-person variability actually tells us anything useful about who has, or will develop, mild cognitive impairment (MCI). A total of 334 older adults completed quarterly neuropsychological testing over three years as part of a larger longitudinal study. This thesis examines the unique relationship between nongovernmental human rights reporting, and U.S. congressional attention during the post-Cold War period, 1989-2004. Using a longitudinal content analysis research method, it compares human rights-related resolutions from the 101st through 108th Congresses with materials from Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Human Rights First. Rather than claiming causation, the study evaluates whether congressional country or issues mentioned overlapped with NGO reporting during those same sessions. The findings show recurring overlap between congressional attention and NGO-identified countries, abuses, and normative claims.
