Normative Dynamics Of Competition Laws, Piyabutr Bunaramrueang

piyabutr bunaramrueang

This article aims at providing a review on normative dynamics of competition laws. Although legal norms seem to be very stable, those norms governing economic activities are changing relatively fast. It is therefore an attempt to illustrate dynamic quality of laws by using competition laws as a major example of laws governing economic activities. I would like to discuss mainly over U.S. antitrust laws as the major model of competition laws, perhaps, for all other countries pursuing economic growth of free market. Breast And Cervical Cancer Screening Among Asian American Women And Latinas: Does Race=Ethnicity Matter?, Pa Der Vang, Hee Yun Lee, Melissa Lundquist

Pa Der Vang, PhD, MSW, LICSW

Background: Ethnic minorities are frequently considered as one homogeneous group in research, and this trend

Forensic Analysis Of A Playstation 3 Console, Scott Conrad, Greg Dorn, Philip Craiger

J. Philip Craiger, Ph.D.

The PS3 also allows users to partition and install a secondary operating system on the hard drive. This “desktop-like” functionality along with the encryption of the primary hard drive containing the gaming software raises significant issues related to the forensic analysis of PS3 systems. This paper discusses the PS3 architecture and behavior, and provides recommendations for conducting forensic investigations of PS3 systems.

Revealing Iberian Woodcraft: Conserved Wooden Artefacts From South-East Spain, Pablo Rosser

pablo rosser

Yolanda Carrion & Pablo Rosser Six wells at Tossal de les Basses in Spain captured a large assemblage of Iberian woodworking debris. The authors’ analysis distinguishes a wide variety of boxes, handles, staves, pegs and joinery made in different and appropriate types of wood, some – like cypress – imported from some distance away. We have here a glimpse of a sophisticated and little known industry of the fourth century BC.
