This paper describes scientometric study of research productivity of Scientists of Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES), Nainital. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the research performance of ARIES, Nainital. This study evaluates the Nephrology research output during 2007-2016. The data were downloaded from web of science database which was maintained by Thomson Reuters. Total numbers of records were 4655 with 47, 384 citations and average citations per article was 10.05. Nephrology is the adult and pediatric study of the kidneys and its related diseases. The nephrologists deals with the diagnosis and management of kidney diseases. The kidneys are vital for maintaining normal fluid and electrolyte balance in a body. This study highlights the publication analysis in nanotechnology research outputs in global level as identified the data in Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database, Thomson Reuters, Philadelphia, USA. It is found that a total output of worldwide scholarly communications in the field of nanotechnology is 20825 during the period between 1989 and 2014. The maximum numbers of outputs of 7269 records (34.91 %) were published by USA which is placed in the first rank. The peaceful application of atomic energy was introduced into Ghana about fifty years ago. This is the first bibliometric study of nuclear science and technology research publications listed in the International Nuclear Information System (INIS) Database, originating from Ghana. The purpose was to use the simple document counting method to determine the geographical distribution, annual growth and the subject areas of the publications as well as communication channels, key journals and authorship trends.
