Ministry And Life In The Seven Churches, Arthur C. Repp Mar 1964

Ministry And Life In The Seven Churches, Arthur C. Repp

Concordia Theological Monthly

The book of Revelation, the great Apocalypse of our Lord, is a record of what Jesus Christ showed His servant John, a record of "what must soon take place." In a series of ever-expanding visions Saint John the Divine is given to see the final and complete victory of Jesus Christ and His church. Though in the ages to come the powers of hell will appear to prevail through persecutions, famines, imprisonment, death, and destruction, Jesus Christ will nonetheless emerge in complete triumph on the Day of days as King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Theology Of Self-Surrender In The Writings Of E. Stanley Jones, Varghese M. Kattapuram

Western Evangelical Seminary Theses

Thoughts Ii, S. Roger Tyler

Tyler, S. Roger, 1878-1963

According to the Preface, this book was “prepared in response to a number of requests which have come from Dr. Tyler’s friends and from those who have read the first volume, which was published in 1963” (p. v). Like its predecessor, it is a collection of articles published in two newspapers: the Advertiser in Huntington, West Virginia, and the Gazette in Charleston. Those articles were shortened versions of “sermons prepared and delivered by Dr. Tyler over a period of sixty years in the ministry.”
