Historical Data Cards were used to record the organizational history of units within the Army. This card was provided to Robert Bolin by the US Army Institute of Heraldry in 1985.

The Missile Intelligence Agency (MIA) was organized on 1 December 1967 as the Missile Intelligence Directorate of the US Army Missile Command in Huntsville, AL. On 14 August 1970, the Missile Intelligence Directory was redesignated the Missile Intelligence Agency, a special purpose-military organization assigned to the US Army Materiel Command.

The Octofoil is the offical publication of the Ninth Infantry Division Association, Inc., an organization formed by the officers and men of the 9th Infantry Division in order to perpetuate the memory of fallen comrades, preserve the esprit de corps of the Division, promote peace and serve as an information bureau about the 9th Infantry Division. The Association is made up of 9th Infantry veterans from WWII and Vietnam, spouses, widows and lineal descendants.

Students of international economics often feel perplexed by numerous divergent and diametric views that well-trained and prudent men frequently offer for the solutions of what appear to be rather simple problems. This study is concerned with the federal civil servant who in conjunction with the U.S. military chiefs run the day-to-day operations in military Research, Development and Testing installations. These employees are known as Technical Directors, Directors, Division Chiefs and Branch Chiefs in such installations. Two such installations were used for the comparative analysis presented in this study. One is White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, and the other is the Air Force Special Weapons Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico. A recent development within the federal government is the large­scale use of civilian scientists and engineers in the development of military materiel. Little research has been conducted of the organizational and administrative methods used by military organizations which thus employ civilian scientists and engineers.

Two such military agencies (one Army and one Air Force) were explored from the standpoint of their organizational structure and concepts and the pattern of authority relationships at the program administration level--the lowest hierarchical level at which a single person has responsibility for a total test and evaluation program.
