Report Of The Subcommittee On First Amendment And Land Use, Alan C. Weinstein, Edward H. Ziegler Jr.
Report Of The Subcommittee On First Amendment And Land Use, Alan C. Weinstein, Edward H. Ziegler Jr.
Law Faculty Articles and Essays
In recent years, there has been a marked expansion in the types of uses, both commercial and nonprofit, that challenge land-use regulations on First Amendment grounds. This expansion is occurring for two reasons. First, "land use and the first amendment" is a developing area in the law. Georgetown Law Faculty Publications and Other Works

The war on drugs has reached a feverish pitch. New policies and statutes have tightened the grip of supply-side policies, with images of battle and hate mongering which go beyond the vilified drug lords and governments which harbor them, to the middle men, …

Center for Urban Studies Publications and Reports
The Community Service Intervention Program (CSlP) is a unique public agency response to a multifaceted set of problems confronting low income residents living in Oregon 's largest public housing project. The evaluation of the CSIP combined a number of different research methods, on different analytical levels, to provide a summary assessment. Data were collected from individuals, from agencies, and from police records in a post facto analysis of the …
The Relationship Between Private And Commercial Vehicle Driver Records And Accidents In Michigan, Robert E. Maki
The Relationship Between Private And Commercial Vehicle Driver Records And Accidents In Michigan, Robert E. Maki
Dissertations
The primary objective of this study was to determine whether previous accidents and citations are reliable predictors of future tractor-trailer heavy truck accidents in Michigan. In addition, the background material on accident trends shows how heavy truck safety policy was formed at the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Historically, accident prediction models have been able to explain only small portions of the accident experience. More recent studies have tended to show that previous citation and accident experience were good predictors of commercial vehicle accidents. Most studies have suffered from an admitted lack of exposure data and incomplete accident statistics.
Through the …
