This report and any related files are made available to the online through the Lester F. Larsen Tractor Test and Power Museum as resources allow. Established in 1998, this museum is located on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus. It is and appropriately housed within the walls of the historic 1920 Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory, where the first tractor test was started on March 31st, 1920. Oxidation Of Silver As A Method Of Measuring Ozone Concentration, Lorne Maxwell Chanin

It has been found that, under certain conditions, a chemical reaction occurs between silver and ozone. The products of this reaction are silver oxides and oxygen. When heated to a certain temperature, the silver oxides are decomposed into silver and oxygen. If this reaction were produced, then the amount of oxygen resulting from the decomposition would be a measure of the amount of ozone originally present.

What is internal pressure? That question has never been answered in a satisfactory manner. Probably the best answer is the simple statement that it is a measure of the attraction between molecules. While this is true it gives no indication of what causes the attractive force or of the effects which this attraction has on a substance.

The mines at San Jose which are within the Wadley unit are the largest antimony mines in Mexico. These mines produce more than half of the antimony produced by the company from its mining operations. Since the time of the author's connection with the company, a number of changes have been made in planning of development work, handling of labor, methods of mine development, cost improvement, and other problems inherent in the successful guidance of an operation.
