Research On Completion Method For Trajectory Based On Image Representation And Collaborative Feature Perception, Ye Tao, Jinhui Tang, Chen Zhou, Chong Wang
Journal of System Simulation
To address the constraints imposed by missing trajectory data in surveillance systems on the efficacy of civil aviation safety monitoring, as well as the limitations on the development and application of advanced technologies within trajectory-based operational frameworks, a completion method for trajectory based on image representation and collaborative feature perception was proposed. A conversion strategy for trajectory image representation was designed to reformulate the trajectory completion task as a deterministic image completion problem, effectively circumventing the cumulative error problem of traditional time-series data caused by the limitation of recurrent neural network inference mechanisms.A regression model fusing a multi-kernel hybrid …

Robot Trajectory Planning And Adjustment Method For Abnormal Pose Of Actuator, Lang Qin, Jiacheng Xie, Xiaojun Qiao, Xuewen Wang, Zhijie Xiao
Journal of System Simulation
To address the influence of the abnormal pose of the robot actuator on the robot trajectory, an adaptive planning and adjustment method of trajectory based on virtual-real fusion was proposed. AR technology was introduced to couple with the robot kinematics model, and the hardware dependence on multiple sensors was replaced by synchronous comparison of three-dimensional virtual and real poses; AR gestures and voice interaction were combined to simplify the operation process; based on the actual pose of the actuator, the trajectory of the robot terminal axis was dynamically adjusted. The experimental results show that this method breaks through the technical …

Hyperspectral Anomaly Detection Algorithm Based On Window Reconstruction And Collaborative Representation, Shuanghao Fan, Fang He, Jianwei Zhao, Haojie Hu, Fengchao Zhu, Xiangyang Li
Journal of System Simulation
Hyperspectral anomaly detection refers to identifying ground objects that deviate from normal background distributions and have low probability and small scales from scenes involving mixed multi- class ground objects, spectral feature overlaps, and noise interference. This technology has received extensive attention in recent years. Although collaborative representation-based anomaly detection algorithms demonstrate excellent performance in hyperspectral image anomaly detection, their time costs are too high to enable widespread application. To address this issue, this paper proposes a hyperspectral image anomaly detection algorithm based on window reconstruction and collaborative representation, which consists of two stages. Window reconstruction is performed on hyperspectral background …

Detection Method For Laboratory Ppe Compliance Wearing Based On Human Key Points, Lijun Peng, Tingqi Su, Peijin Liu, Lin He, Xiewu Zhou, Minxin Zhang
Journal of System Simulation
To address the problems of high missed detection rate and inaccurate judgment of wearing compliance when multi-scale and multi-category targets of laboratory personnel's safety protective equipment are detected in a complex laboratory environment, this paper proposes a laboratory personnel's standard personal protective equipment (PPE) wearing detection method (multi-scale multi- target joint key point detection method, MSMT-JKDM) that integrates multi-scale features and human keypoints. The multi-scale adaptive down sampling (MSA-Down) module and the cascaded group attention transformer (CGA Former) are introduced to enhance the feature representation ability of PPE (especially small targets such as goggles and gloves) in laboratory detection scenarios, …

Modeling Of Penicillin Fermentation Process Based On A Multi-Stage Lhs-Eprcc Method, Quan Li, Peng Su, Haiying Wan, Chengxi Zhang, Zhijian He, Yiyang Ni
Journal of System Simulation
This paper focused on the modeling of microbial fermentation processes under varying production environments and proposed a novel approach. Considering that the dynamic characteristics of microorganism s differ across growth stages, we introduced the concept of multi-stage sensitivity analysis, in which each stage was investigated separately. The fuzzy C-means (FCM) algorithm was employed to cluster process data under nominal conditions, thereby dividing the penicillin fermentation process into distinct growth stages. Based on this division, the Latin hypercube sampling with partial rank correlation coefficient (LHS-EPRCC) method was applied to conduct sensitivity analysis for each stage, identifying an importance parameter set (IPS) …

Journal of System Simulation
To improve the stability and cross-category generalization capability of grasp pose estimation in complex stacked scenes, an annotation-free 6-DoF grasp detection method integrating physical rules and geometric structure priors was proposed. In the offline stage, a template library of feasible grasp poses was constructed based on multi-physical constraints, without relying on manual grasp annotations. In the network design, the modeling of structural symmetry of objects and spatial overlap relationships was introduced; a geometric guidance mechanism with occlusion perception and exposure modeling capabilities was designed, and robust pose alignment of target objects was achieved by combining keypoint regression. A multi-type stacked …

Detection Method For 3d Lanes Based On Graph Relationship Optimization Integrating Point And Lane Features, Yanji Jiang, Xingyi Xiao, Hao Dong, Miao Yu, Jinshan Huang, Daqian Liu, Bowen Fei
Journal of System Simulation
Under complex road conditions, the thin and elongated structure and small proportion of lanes lead to blurred visual features and insufficient positioning accuracy, which in turn threatens the road safety of autonomous driving. To address these issues, a 3D lane detection method or graph-based point and lane optimization network (GPLNet), based on graph relationship optimization integrating point and lane features, was proposed. Preliminary feature extraction was completed by the backbone network. 3D spatial positional coding with geometric constraints was obtained through a joint query embedding generation module. A graph relationship optimization network was utilized to perform graph relationship calculation and …

Multi-Level Digital Model Of Dynamic Earned Value Management For Complex Engineering Projects And Its Applications, Wei Wang, Dong Liu, Xinhao Cui, Bo Li, Yiyong Xiao, Yi Ren
Journal of System Simulation
The economic management of existing engineering projects is usually based on organizational structure, which presents problems such as complex processes and difficulty in clarifying main responsibilities when applied to complex engineering projects. In response to this limitation, a multi-level digital model of dynamic earned value management is proposed for complex engineering projects, which extends the traditional cost performance indicators to engineering resource utility indicators, thereby decomposing the earned value of costs into segmented earned values of different engineering resources. This enables managers to dynamically supervise projects based on traditional "schedule-cost" performance indicators and carry out more refined cost control …
Hierarchical Motion Planning Of Mobile Robot Based On Dynamic Corridor Inflation And Convex Optimization, Dingkun Zhang, Haizhao Liang
Hierarchical Motion Planning Of Mobile Robot Based On Dynamic Corridor Inflation And Convex Optimization, Dingkun Zhang, Haizhao Liang
Journal of System Simulation
Motion planning for robots with Ackermann chassis in dynamic complex environments faces nonholonomic constraints and kinematic-dynamic coupling challenges. However, traditional methods suffer from path redundancy, random fluctuations, and local optimality. A hierarchical motion planning method based on dynamic corridor inflation and convex optimization is proposed. Topologically sparse paths are generated by fusing the Ramer-Douglas-Peucker (RDP) path compression operator with the A* algorithm to reduce redundant path points' interference with backend optimization. Dynamic corridor inflation strategies are designed considering Ackermann steering characteristics, and safe corridors satisfying kinematic constraints are constructed via convex decomposition. Corridor constraints are then transformed into linear inequalities …

Power Flow Calculation Based On Block-Encoded Adiabatic Quantum Newton-Raphson Method, Shengchao Jiang, Yunqing Pei, Hongying Zhai, Guojian Wu, Fang Gao
Journal of System Simulation
To overcome the efficiency bottleneck of the traditional Newton-Raphson (NR)method in high- dimensional power flow calculations for modern power systems and the constraints of variational quantum algorithm frameworks, this paper proposed a power flow calculation framework integrating block encoding technology and adiabatic quantum computing principles. Based on block encoding technology, adiabatic quantum theory, and the NR method, a block-encoded adiabatic quantum power flow calculation framework (BQ-NR) was constructed. The NR correction equations were mapped to a quantum system, and the quantum state encoding of the correction equations was realized by constructing an extended Hermitian matrix and a projection operator; a …

New Developments In Space-Filling Designs, Xiankui Yang
USF Tampa Graduate Theses and Dissertations
This dissertation presents three methodological advancements to improve the construction of space-filling designs for meeting different needs of computer experiments. Traditional space-filling designs focus on achieving uniform coverage in the input space, ensuring that design points are spread evenly throughout. However, in some scientific and engineering applications, varied density of design points may be desired for more efficient data collection when prior knowledge implies different emphases. In other cases, ensuring good coverage and/or spread of the response values allows better performance of fitted models in the next stage of applications. Many processes involve variation in response values. Therefore, incorporating variation …

Asymmetric Opinion Formation Of Emotional Excitable Agents, Irene Ferri, Emanuele Cozzo, Aleix Nicolás-Olivé, Albert Díaz-Guilera, Luce Prignano
Northeast Journal of Complex Systems (NEJCS)
The bounded confidence model represents a widely adopted framework for modeling opinion dynamics wherein actors have a continuous-valued opinion and interact and approach their positions in the opinion space only if their opinions are within a specified confidence threshold. Here, we propose a novel framework where the confidence bound is determined by a decreasing function of their emotional arousal, an additional independent variable distinct from the opinion value. Additionally, our framework accounts for agents' ability to broadcast messages, with interactions influencing the timing of each other's message emissions. Our findings underscore the significant role of synchronization in shaping consensus formation. …

This study explores the potential of utilizing biogenic manganese oxides (BMOs) produced by Mn-oxidizing Pseudomonas putida MnB1 to facilitate metal cation uptake for rare earth element (REE) sequestration and the synthesis of novel materials. Previous studies have shown that P. putida MnB1 efficiently oxidizes environmental Mn(II) to Mn(IV)-oxides, producing BMOs with unique physicochemical properties. Unlike their abiotic counterparts, BMOs exhibit high surface area, reactivity, and amorphous, poorly crystalline structures, making them promising platforms for adsorbing metal cations. This research study, building on the prior work, demonstrates the incorporation of ten different main group, transition, and rare earth metals into the …

Ecological Interest Theory Of “Lucid Waters And Lush Mountains Are Invaluable Assets” And Its Application In The Yellow River Basin, Guangqian Wang, Deyu Zhong
Bulletin of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chinese Version)
To address the core challenges of quantifying ecological value and converting it into economic gains, this study proposes a theoretical framework of ecological interest (EI) based on the principle that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”. Three fundamental origins of ecological interest are explained, including the temporal value discount, the spatial ecological compensation, and the civilizational occupation-compensation balance. These three dimensions establish the logical connection between ecological and economic values. Setting a 5% annual simple interest rate as the benchmark and adopting “Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains” green certificates as the standardized ecological assets for property rights delineation …

Seizing Strategic High Ground Of Space Computing Power: Global Competition Landscape And China’S Path, Yan Chen, Wenbin Song, Ping Zhang
Bulletin of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Chinese Version)
The deep integration of artificial intelligence and commercial aerospace is accelerating the transformation of space computing power from conceptual exploration to engineering verification, becoming a key direction for building an integrated space-air-ground information infrastructure. This study delves into its strategic value, global landscape, industrial chain bottlenecks, and advancement paths. The research reveals that the core value of space computing power does not lie in replacing ground data centers, but rather in focusing on network coverage blind spots, data transmission limitations, and high-timeliness scenarios, providing a new supply model of “in-orbit computing + space-ground collaboration”. Currently, the world has entered a …

Medical image segmentation is critical for accurate diagnostics and treatment planning, but remains challenging due to complex anatomical structures and limited annotated training data. CNN-based segmentation methods excel at local feature extraction, but struggle with modeling long-range dependencies. Transformers, on the other hand, capture global context more effectively, but are inherently data-hungry and computationally expensive. In this work, we introduce UKAST, a U-Net like architecture that integrates rationalfunction based Kolmogorov - Arnold Networks (KANs) into Swin Transformer encoders. By leveraging rational base functions and Group Rational KANs (GR-KANs) from the Kolmogorov - Arnold Transformer (KAT), our architecture addresses the inefficiencies …

Exploring Resource-Efficient Deep Learning For Medical Image Segmentation, Pallabi Dutta
Doctoral Theses
Automated medical image segmentation improves diagnostic accuracy by au tomating the precise delineation of target anatomical structures in the input images. Artificial Intelligence (AI), and specifically, Deep Learning (DL), has emerged as a state-of-the-art approach for this task. However, the significant computational demands of DL approaches often hinders their deployment. Ad vanced models, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Vision Transformers (ViTs), require substantial processing power and a large memory footprint, limiting their use in resource-constrained settings. This thesis aims to address this challenge by developing a series of novel, resource-efficient DL models that achieve high segmentation accuracy with reduced …

Machine Learning For Modeling In An Elementary Differential Equations Class, Nathan Albin, Andrew G. Bennett, Abhinav Chand
CODEE Journal
Mixing machine learning with modeling is an area of increasing importance. This paper presents a lesson where students model a spring-mass system both using traditional analysis with linear damping and using machine learning to learn the damping from real data. The machine learning is implemented in a Jupyter notebook hosted on Google Colab, allowing students to train the neural network without requiring the students to carry out coding. Students get experience with how machine learning can fail, how it can work, and the time and data requirements for machine learning to succeed, and are asked to apply this knowledge to …

3d Puzzle Generation Beyond Voxelized Parts, Iris Xia
3d Puzzle Generation Beyond Voxelized Parts, Iris Xia
Computer Science Theses
Burr puzzles are interlocking assemblies whose pieces must be inserted and removed through tightly constrained motions. Designing them is difficult because geometric fit, interlocking behavior, and disassembly order are tightly coupled, while existing computational methods remain largely limited to voxelized or template-based constructions.
This work presents a framework for 3D puzzle generation beyond voxelized parts. The method replaces local mobility heuristics with a certified search over geometry edits. Starting from a topological contact specification, it constructs signed distance fields for individual parts, applies complementary local edits, and validates each candidate using exact geometric checks and a kernel disassembly graph. The …

A Formal Ontology Of Combat Feel, Grayson Julian Von Goetz Und Schwanenfliess
LMU Theses and Dissertations
Combat feel, the moment-to-moment subjective character of real-time melee combat in ac- tion games, is a central concern of game design and a recurring subject in design literature, but practitioners currently navigate it through intuition and reference to admired prior work, with no shared formal vocabulary for the design trade-o!s being made. This thesis presents a decision-theoretic framework that formalizes combat feel as a Bayesian network in which designer decisions act as interventions on measurable system variables, those variables drive latent perceptual states whose conditional distributions are grounded in the psychophysics literature on input-lag detection, duration discrimination, and audiovisual temporal …

Real-Time Instruction Internalization For Large Language Models, Brenden Smith
Theses and Dissertations
For the end user, Large Language Models (LLMs) are programs that process natural language inputs into natural language outputs. In popular usage, this tends to take the form of conversation: a user asks a question, provides information, or gives instructions, and the LLM (hopefully) replies in a manner we would expect of an informed and compliant person. While convenient and intuitive for users, this natural conversational format encourages the misconception that LLMs are learning from conversations, when they do not. This work presents the benefits and practicality of a language model paradigm that meets this user expectation -- that is, …

Accurate lithological mapping requires selecting the appropriate remote sensing data and classification methods. This study evaluates the performance of four satellite datasets—Landsat 8 OLI, Sentinel-2A, ASTER, and Hyperion EO-1—using three spectral classification techniques: Matched Filtering (MF), Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM), and Spectral Information Divergence (SID). The study area is located between the Zara and Koyulhisar districts in eastern Türkiye and comprises diverse lithological units. A total of 49 rock samples collected in the field were used for validation. The results indicate that MF consistently outperformed the other methods, achieving the highest accuracy with Landsat 8 (Kappa = 94.2%). ASTER data …

Hyperspectral Image Classification Using Novel 1-D And 2-D Deep Neural Networks, Özlem Polat, Zümray Dokur, Tamer Ölmez
Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences
Hyperspectral image (HSI) classification is of critical importance in many fields including agriculture, geology, environmental monitoring, and urban planning. In recent years, many researchers have utilized deep neural networks (DNNs), known for their high performance in the classification of HSIs. When 2-D/3-D convolutional neural networks are used in HSI classification, filters are applied using input patches typically larger than 11 × 11. This allows spectral and spatial features to be evaluated together. However, this combination creates several problems. Because HSIs have low spatial resolution, they often do not contain strong texture details. Furthermore, features with little relevance to classification make …

Shear-wave velocity (Vs) is one of the most critical parameters for determining geomechanical properties and basin overpressure. However, assessing Vs via techniques like core analysis requires considerable effort and expense. This study predicts Vs using several approaches and compares the accuracy levels of all models. For this objective, the multiple linear regression, multiple linear stepwise regression, support vector machine, and least-squares boost (LSBoost) methodologies were selected. The six well-logging data inputs of density (RHOB), gamma-ray (GR), deep resistivity (ILD), acoustic wave velocity (Vp), shale volume (VCL), and water saturation (SW) were selected as effective variables, whereas Vs was regarded as …

Geoelectrical Signatures Of The Giant Karaburun Pelitic-Mafic-Type Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide Mineralization In The Central Pontides (Türkiye), Kurtuluş Günay, Türker Yas, Buğra Çavdar, Ertan Pekşen
Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences
The Karaburun deposit, hosted in greenschist facies metamorphic rocks, is a newly discovered giant volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposit in Anatolia and provides an exceptional natural laboratory for geophysical monitoring. The main ore body is less affected by metamorphism than the surrounding wall-rocks, where metamorphic and metasomatic processes formed pyritemagnetite- sericite-quartz assemblages that significantly influence geoelectrical properties. In this study, the geometry and extent of mineralization within geologically defined target zones were investigated using direct current resistivity and two-dimensional timedomain induced polarization (2D-TDIP) methods and the results were compared with the geology. A pole–dipole electrode array was employed in the …
