The main aim of this paper is to investigate the current status and emerging trends of digital scholarly communication through the distribution of citations. It specifically identifies the usage framework of digital research works by the citation analysis of “Australian Journal of Chemistry”. Articles published in “Australian Journal of Chemistry” were chosen as a sample source for data. The data were collected from the time of 2011-2020 i.e. the period of 10 years. Bibliometrics can help libraries to understand their local community’s journal usage patterns, and to identify the most influential journals to subscribe to. Collection development can be informed by bibliometrics data on both the relative influence of journals in the worldwide community, and on the publication and citation patterns. The study analysis the CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians from 2010 to 2019. On the study period, 419 articles published and received 2,52,572 citations. This study aims to analyze and visualize the contribution of Indian researchers in “genetic counseling”. PubMed and JGate databases were used as sources to retrieve the required data for six years, which was published between 2015-2020 (February). The data were assessed on the following parameters, growth of research publications authorship and publication patterns frequently used keywords. HIV/AIDS is still a major killer disease among adolescents in sub- Saharan Africa and Uganda in particular. There are many factors attributed to high HIV infections among young people in Uganda such as, multiple sexual partners, low condom use, those born with HIV and poverty. The study elaborates the current publication trends in the field of telemedicine as well as the application of growth models to forecast future trends with the goal of determining the fitness of growth in publications using exponential, linear, and logistic growth models. The data for the study was downloaded from the Scopus database over a fifteen-year period, from 2005 to 2019. During the period, a total of 45719 publications were found with publication productivity showing an upward trend throughout the period. The paper investigates work stress and information anxiety of library personnel in academic libraries in South-west, Nigeria. The research design adopted for the study was survey method of the correlational type. Simple random sampling technique was used to select a sample population of 308 (60% of the population) out of 703 library personnel in academic libraries in South-west, Nigeria. The findings of this study revealed that the level of work stress of the library personnel is moderate with a mean score X = 52.45; SD=7.366. This study aims to ascertain how and to what extent the information regarding libraries is presented in the websites of the Arts and Science Colleges of Kerala, India. The contents of the library websites/webpages were analysed using a check-list containing 28 criteria, developed for this purpose. A sample of 32 colleges were selected for the study. The most popular features available in these websites were identified and the websites/webpages were ranked on the basis of certain scores assigned to every criterion. By searching with the keyword “Halal Tourism”, the data analyzed from 65 publications of indexed halal tourism research publications. The results showed that the number of publications on the development of halal tourism research from 2009-2020 experienced a fluctuated increase and the most were published in 2020. What’S The Big Deal? How Researchers Are Navigating Changes To Journal Access, Danielle Cooper, Oya Y. Rieger

The dominant mode by which research libraries have provided maximum journal access as cheaply as possible—subscription bundles or “Big Deals”—is giving way to new approaches. This transition is taking place through a combination of negotiations, activism, business modeling, user needs research, and decision support, among other factors. To support these processes, Ithaka S+R partnered with 11 academic libraries to understand researcher perceptions to help inform their ongoing strategic decision making about Big Deal journal subscriptions.

This paper aims to evaluate the teaching skills, learning skills, learning outcomes, and academic performance using scientometrics analysis from 2001 to 2020. The scientometrics method and a total of 7536 published documents were found. The results reveal that the topic of academic performance and article as a type of published document was highly used. The high majority of these published documents are published in the English language and gradually increased in the number of published documents in terms of the year. Ordinal Logistic Regression (OLR) is used to predict an ordinal structured variable given one or more independent variables. The objective of this study is to report the outcome of the bibliometric analysis of Open Access (OA) journals in veterinary and animal sciences (VAS) indexed by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).The DOAJ which indexed 16,460 open access journals as on 10 June 2021, contains 335 open access veterinary and animal science journals (2.03%) and provides access to 1,63,500 articles which is about 2.63% of the total articles. I explained and demonstrated the process I came up with to use OCLC WMS to do an overlap analysis of the online journal titles that we subscribe to directly through EBSCO, i.e. our paid subscriptions, and the access we have to those titles through our databases, in order to identify subscribed titles that we could potentially cancel. This is timely since the EBSCO renewal process starts in early June.

This study attempted to evaluate the scholarly publications on COVID-19, social distance, physical distance, social isolation, and self-isolation employing the scientometric analysis technique from 2020 to 2021. The main purpose was to consolidate the published scholarship on the COVID-19 in the Web of Science indexed documents. A total of 635 publications were found. The results indicated that social distance and COVID-19 was the top topic along with the article as a type of document, and the majority were published in the English language in 2021. Purpose: To evaluate the global published literature in anthropometric measurement research between 1971-2021. Anthropometry is the study of the size and shape of the human body generally refers to the measurements and data used to characterize the size of human users.
Method: Scientometric and bibliometric tools applied to analyze the research published indexed in the Scopus database.
