Open Questions In Pennsylvania Criminal Law, Samuel J. Reich, Jay H. Speigel
Duquesne Law Review
The authors explore several areas of criminal law and criminal procedure, specifically, a defendant's right to counsel at line-ups, establishing probable cause with first-time informants, changing venue based on pretrial publicity, impeachment of witnesses through the use of prior convictions, necessity of instructing the jury on manslaughter in homicide cases, retroactive or prospective application of changes in the law, requiring stated reasons for sentences, applying the exclusionary rule in probation and parole revocation proceedings, and the scope of the Brady rule, all of which present questions yet to be resolved by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Zoning - Constitutionality Of Exclusionary Zoning Ordinance - Fair Share, Sally A. Davoren
Duquesne Law Review
The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania has held that a suburban zoning ordinance which limited multi-family dwellings to a forty-three acre commercial district was unconstitutionally exclusionary, since it did not provide a fair share of the township's 3,800 acres for development of multi-family dwellings.

Consumer Law--The Supervised Loan In West Virginia, Jon David Levy
Consumer Law--The Supervised Loan In West Virginia, Jon David Levy
West Virginia Law Review
The supervised (small) loan is just one piece in the patchwork of transactions characterized as consumer credit. It is designed to increase the availability of credit for consumers in a form attractive to legitimate lenders who are permitted to issue loans with a low ceiling on the maximum principal amount, and a high ceiling on the permissible rate of interest.
