Winona Campus Life, Mass Communication Department
Winona Campus Life
Winona Campus Life was a weekly laboratory newspaper produced by the WSU Mass Communciation Department students and printed as a supplement to the Sunday Winona Daily News, which began in September 1983. The newspaper provided coverage of the four institutions of higher education in Winona: Winona State University, St. Mary's University, College of Saint Teresa, and Winona Area Vocational-Technical School. It was created to provide a place for Mass Communcation students to publish their articles and photographs with the idea of generating reader feedback, which is essential in journalism education.

Archaeological Testing Of Site 41ci30 Childress County, Texas, Wayne C. Young
Index of Texas Archaeology: Open Access Gray Literature from the Lone Star State
The State Department of Highways and Public Transportation (SDHPT) conducted archaeological tests on Site 41CI30 in Childress County in May 1988. The majority of it is located on private property outside the jurisdiction of the SDHPT. Testing indicated that the site is a low density prehistoric campsite. Lithic debris was largely limited to the upper 20-30 cm of orange, sandy soils. A total of four 1 meter squares …

Aids And A-Bomb Disease: Facing A Special Death, Chris Glaser
Aids And A-Bomb Disease: Facing A Special Death, Chris Glaser
New England Journal of Public Policy
In 1979 it was called "gay cancer," and it took the life of an acquaintance. Then "gay-related immune deficiency," or GRID, claimed neighbors, friends of friends, fellow activists. I began grief and death counseling with a segment of the population ordinarily concerned with life's ambitions and enjoyments: men in their twenties and thirties. Hospital visits and memorial services became more frequent.
By 1983, when it had come to be called AIDS, my own friends began to be affected. One was a man I dated in seminary, and I was devastated to learn of his illness only upon receiving a notice …
