Netflix : D’Une Digitalisation Cinématographique Vers Une Déconstruction Du 7èMe Art, Karim El Mahjoubi
Dirassat
According to a study conducted by GroupM1, 76% of French people have gone to the cinema less since the 2018 health crisis. The first reason given is "the fear of being contaminated by Covid-19". This is how the streaming platform "Netflix" saw, here, a godsend to seize this market and innovate in cinematographic digitalization. It therefore decided to rent via a monthly subscription, through a Smartphone or Smart TV application, films and series to watch "without moderation" (unlike the old video clubs). The cinema then becomes "Smart or pocket" and accessible, at a low price, for any film buff because …

A New Ridge-Type Estimator In The Zero-Inflated Bell Regression Model, Nawal Mahmood Hammood, Nadwa Khazaal Rashad, Zakariya Yahya Algamal
Iraqi Journal for Computer Science and Mathematics
Count data modeling requires usage of the Poisson regression model as a primary analytic method. Excess dispersion in variables makes the model unfit to use when the Poisson distribution mean value differs from its variance value. Data fits well with the results obtained by using the Bell regression model. Excess zeros occur frequently in the observed count data records. The Zero-Inflated Bell regression model is a substitute for the Bell regression model in this situation. The approach of maximum likelihood is mostly used to estimate the Zero-Inflated Bell regression model's parameters. When modeling the link between the response variable and …

Thesis/ Dissertation Defenses
Reducing the levels of heavy metals in water is crucial, given their severe environmental and health impacts. Various methods exist for heavy metals removal. Yet, they mostly come with multiple drawbacks, such as costly treatments and limited efficiency. Previous studies have found geopolymer to be a promising sorbent because it is synthesized using by-product materials, making it an eco-friendly and economically sustainable alternative. Limited studies explored the sorption potential of fly ash-slag blended geopolymers; none examined the effect of mix design factors synergically on sorption, mechanical properties, and durability, and few considered solution characteristics and operating conditions simultaneously. Therefore, this …
