The purpose of this study is to investigate the vocational choices of graduates of Clovis High School. Data and conclusions bearing on the following three questions are presented.

1) What percentage of the graduates select each of the several occupational levels?

2) What relationship obtains between the intelligence and the vocational choices of the graduates?

3) Are the vocational levels of the parents of the graduates an indicator of the vocational choices of these graduates, especially when intelligence of the latter is taken into consideration?

In addition to analyzing school enrollment in the state from 1850 to 1930, inclusive, comparisons of enrollment in the several counties of New Mexico are made; and school enrollment in New Mexico is compared with that in the United States as a whole, the Rocky Mountain States, and certain Southwestern States.

Specifically, this study proposes to answer the following secondary questions which are relevant to the problem:
(1) What are the expenditures for the establishment, maintenance, and "current expense" of the senior seminaries in the Church of Jesus Chrsit of Latter Day Saints?
