Predicting Success In Business Data Processing For Students Enrolling In A College Data Processing Program, Stuart James Travis

The purpose of this investigation was to develop a method for predicting success of students in a B.S. data processing program and data career success in data processing for those graduates.
Data were collected from Ferris State College records for high school rank, SCAT verbal and quantitative scores, all college GPA, data processing GPA, English GPA and sex. An instrument was developed to collect data from graduates' supervisors to measure career success. Multiple regression and correlation analysis, t-test for independent means and the chi square test for independence were employed. The sample population consisted of 271 students who enrolled in …

The purpose of this study was to survey selected existing facilities and to develop guidelines for planning facilities for the adult learner. The following subproblems were identified in order to adequately treat the problem: (1) To describe selected facilities for the adult learner; (2) To identify those elements considered essential, highly desirable, and significant in planning a facility for the adult learner. Curriculum Inferences For Secondary School Teachers In Population Education Within The School System Of Thailand, Manit Subhakul

During the 1970's educational leaders in Thailand worked towards a plan to adopt population education at all levels in the educational system. At the time of this study, population education had been integrated into almost every level within the school system. Providing courses in population education at all school levels had increased the need for population teachers and instructional materials. The purposes of this study were: (1) to draw inferences about the suitability of contemporary population education teacher programs in Thailand for providing qualified teachers for secondary schools; (2) to provide basic information helpful in establishing programs in keeping with …
