An Inquiry Into The Effects Of Goals In The Motivation Of Adult Students In The New Mexico Adult Basic Education Program, Thomas Manuel Trujillo

Teacher Education, Educational Leadership & Policy ETDs

Adult basic education has only in recent years become an integral part of the total educational picture in New Mexico. Since 1964, federal funds under Title II, Part B of the Economic Opportunity Act, and more recently under Title III, Public Law 89-750 in the Amendments of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, have been procured for the teaching of adults. Because of its relative newness no studies have been made in New Mexico which have identified the goals and motivations of the adult students who are participating in this program.

Negligence And Liability In Physical Education, Wilmar Derrick

Graduate Student Research Papers

There is no other area in education that is more directly involved and has the potential for liability involvement than physical education. It is within this program that more accidents occur than in any other area within the school system. In recent years an increased number of court decisions have held that the physical education instructor is responsible for those injuries suffered by pupils under his instruction.
