Based on the FITT-VP principle, this study investigated the dose-response relationship between tennis participation and cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in college students. Addressing the current reliance on expert consensus for exercise prescription and the lack of dose-regulation mechanisms, this study focused on high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and sprint interval training (SIT). It aimed to analyze the dynamic relationship and biological mechanisms between exercise intensity (SIT: 80-100% HRmax vs. HIIT: 75-90% HRmax), duration (8 weeks, frequency 2-3 sessions/week), and key CRF indicators (VO2max, anaerobic threshold, and exercise efficiency). This study presents a content analysis of scholarly works on collaborative online international learning (COIL) published between 2015 and 2023. Conducted by an interdisciplinary faculty group, the research explores how COIL literature frames student learning outcomes within internationalization-at-home efforts. Findings reveal that COIL most frequently supports assignments/projects, as well as intercultural communication and global competence, particularly at the undergraduate level. The analysis highlights COIL’s potential to democratize global learning by addressing access barriers for both students and faculty. The purpose of this study is to examine prosodic speech pause across two groups: neurotypical and autistic young adults. Conversational speech samples were collected from 11 neurotypical and 11 autistic young adults between the ages of 18 and 26. Speech samples were subsequently transcribed and analyzed using Praat Software. The boundaries of between- and within-utterance pauses were identified, as well as acoustically determining if the pause was filled, silent, or a combination of both. Teacher-implementing scaffolding is fundamental in teaching that was disrupted by the sudden move to emergency remote teaching during the pandemic.  A review of research found trends based on grade and subject and that teacher’s responsiveness was the main contingent processes reported.  Based on this a survey was developed and an exploratory factor analysis was completed.  An analysis of the survey results found differences in teacher agency, self-efficacy, and the supports used when comparing in-person and online teacher-implemented scaffolding.  Qualitative results further support findings and describe teachers’ perspective on the change to the environment, adaptations made, and hinderances noted while supporting …

This phenomenological qualitative study explored how youth extracurricular involvement shapes the home environments of Millennial African American families. Guided primarily by Ecological Systems Theory, with Critical Race Theory as a complementary lens, the study examined how parents navigated interconnected systems of home, school, peers, and community while responding to racialized barriers embedded in youth programs. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis with six African American mothers. Seven themes emerged: extracurricular activities, family dynamics, parental involvement, academic achievement, social development, cultural identity, and time management. A small to midsized university supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education by partnering with a reputable online learning company to provide students and faculty access to artificial intelligence powered textbook problem sets and chatbots. An in-house formative assessment study was conducted in Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 to understand how traditional undergraduate students engaged with the platform. Quantitative results suggests that the general population did not utilize it as much as initially expected.
