The research is developing a webbed integrated science learning model based on the local potential "Pulau Kembang" discovery learning (DL) model to improve ecological literacy skills. The purpose of this research is to produce a product that is feasible, practical, and effective for use in learning. This study aims to innovate science teaching materials based on scientific literacy on light and optical instruments. The study used the research and development (R&D) method with the four-D (4D) model. The subjects in the study included three experts and 60 class VIII students with an age range of 13-15 years at the same level. The Influence Of Online-Based Hypnoteaching Methods On The Biology Learning Outcomes Of Class Xi Students, May Yarni, Berliana Cakra Kusuma

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying Online-Based Hypnoteaching Learning Methods. The method used is quasi-experimental. The sample consisted of 69 students selected randomly. Data collection uses pretest and post-test with learning outcomes test instruments. The experimental class n-gain test has an index score of 59.1%, which means relatively effective, while the control class has an index score of 31.0%, which means ineffective. The result of learning outcomes proves significant differences between the two categories. Student responses using the models strongly agree between 49.12% and 43.00%. The Innovation House program has been developed with the validation criteria of 'Very Good' based on expert judgment. The Innovation House was developed using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). The vision of the Innovation House is to prepare teacher developers as reflectors, problem solvers, and decision-makers in science learning. This study aims to compare students' learning skills in each class and students' argumentative abilities in each class and to determine the effect of students' science process skills on students' argumentation abilities. This type of research uses the mixed method with an explanatory design. The samples of this study were 70 students of class 11 science, with the sampling technique of simple random sampling. The results of data analysis using parametric statistics t-test (2-tailed) obtained sig. value 0.034 < 0.05, so it can be said that the students' argumentative abilities in XI A and IPA B are different, and for the variable science process skills, the sig. is 0.043 < 0.05, so each class's science process skills are different. The results of the regression test obtained the results of the sig value of 0.025 in class XI A, and class XI B obtained a sig value of 0.030, where the value of sig < 0.05 which means that science process skills affect the students' argumentation skills. The study confirms that the improvement of scientific skills will make student better at conveying arguments.

Division I cross country (XC) running has many factors that influence performance and is extremely difficult to predict. Consequently, coaches often struggle to identify performance potential in athletes. In this study, personal best race times, VO2max, triceps skinfold, and a series of counter movement jump assessments were performed by female (n=15) and male (n=17) NCAA XC runners to predict XC performance. Simple regression modeling identified 3200-m high school (HS) personal best (PB) time as best predictor for men’s 8-km performance (r = 0.85; p = 0.005, SEE = ± 0.65 min). This autoethnographic case study was designed to investigate the relational aspect of trust, a characteristic of servant leadership, in the teacher-principal relationship. This trusting bond is an often overlooked, foundational element of a school’s success. I examined the role that trust plays in enhancing a school’s culture and how trust is established and maintained among one principal and teachers under my supervision. In addition, as researcher, I sought to uncover specific indicators that trust was present on a school campus. The physiology core concepts are designed to guide instructors in undergraduate physiology courses. However, although past work has characterized the alignment of physiology programs with the core concepts, it is unclear to what extent these core concepts have influenced instructors’ pedagogical decisions or how represented these core concepts are across physiology courses. We surveyed undergraduate physiology instructors to determine their familiarity with the core concepts, the impact of the core concepts on their teaching, as well as the alignment of their courses with these core concepts. The increasing prevalence of the overuse of social media among adolescents has raised concerns. Educators worry that it may decrease the cognitive functioning of these adolescents. This study of 245 secondary-school students in Palu, Indonesia, reveals that there is a correlation between these students’ diminished perceived attention and the intensity of their internet and social media use. Due to their eagerness to multitask, students who check their social media notifications while doing their online learning experience perceived attention discontinuity. This study suggests the significance of prevention and intervention for adolescents’ media-related problems as they multitask in their online learning environments.

The goal of this study was to identify the factors that affect geography students' abilities to use digital tsunami-based maps for disaster mitigation. Multiple linear regression analysis is used in this work. The findings demonstrated that students' learning outcomes in the disaster mitigation sub-materials were significantly impacted by the usage of digital maps in geography instruction. The skills of lecturers, student responses to utilizing tsunami-based digital maps as learning resources, and classroom learning activities between lecturers and students all have an impact on how well students can utilize tsunami-based digital maps. This study examines the attitudes and experiences of bilingual learners across two instructional types, identifying how the language of instruction affects the context of learning, and how the experience of the learners differs. Participants included 269 predominantly Hispanic undergraduate students in a general biology course attending a Hispanic Serving Institution in a bilingual community along the US-Mexico border. This dissertation is devoted to the computational study of model semiflexible polymers using a coarse-grained bead-spring approach and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. Much of the work presented here is motivated by the need to derive predictive models for describing polymeric materials’ macroscopic mechanical response from the underlying local structure or local chain parameters. This dissertation describes polymeric materials in the context of granular media, melts, and glasses with a focus on relating characteristics such as chain stiffness and local structure to systems’ solidification, rheology, and fracture mechanisms.

Over the past decades, many studies have concluded that African American students' college completion rate and success lag far behind other students attending college in the United States (The JBHE Foundation, Inc., 2006). More specifically, these studies have confirmed that African American male students' success rates remain disproportionally low compared to other ethnic male groups. This intrinsic single case study explored the ways in which two older adult burgeoning literacy learners in a capital city in the U.S. Gulf South utilized the skills of print literacy and digital literacy both together and apart. This study was an investigation of print and digital literacy, individually and combined, in order to examine the way older adult burgeoning literacy learners used one kind of literacy (print) to develop the other (digital). The first aim of the study was to apply the revised version of the Dimensions of Attitudes toward Science Scale, namely Dimension of Attitudes toward Physics Teaching Scale (DAPT) with a sample consisting of 207 in-service science teachers in Turkey. The second was to determine the percentage distributions of in-service science teachers’ attitudes toward physics teaching in the confirmed seven sub-dimensions. The DAPT is a valid and reliable scale to measure Turkish science teachers’ attitudes toward physics teaching.
