A Study Of The Campus Recreation At Utah State Agricultural College, Tod V. Carlini May 1953

A Study Of The Campus Recreation At Utah State Agricultural College, Tod V. Carlini

All Graduate Theses and Dissertations, Spring 1920 to Summer 2023

The importance and growth of campus recreation is being felt by leaders throughout the country. Daniels (2, p. 38) summarizes the importance of the total organism in modern education as follows: "Ample justification for a consideration of, the problem of recreation may be found in the latest and most authoritative literature in the field of educat1on, as well as in a direct study of conditions found on many college campuses throughout the country. Relative Curricular Emphasis In Some Utah High Schools During The 1941-1951 Years, Edward W. Payne May 1953

The new philosophy recognizes the variation in students as individuals. One must not assume that there is …

In Ogden, Utah, education is big business. With capital assets of approximately $8,000,000, a current budget of $3,065,000, a staff of 570 full-time employees, and an enrollment of 12,650 students (5), education ranks high insofar as its effects are felt by the citizenry of the community.

The administrative staff of Ogden schools feel the necessity of keeping informed on current opinions of school patrons concerning their schools. Being employed by the public, they are servants of the public; and the degree …
