This study investigated the effect of a multiple intelligences theory-based program on tenth-grade students' reading comprehension skills in Jordan. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design in which the participants were divided into four groups. The participants, chosen through purposeful sampling, consisted of 110 male and female tenth-grade students from two different schools in the Ramtha Directorate of Education. The Effectiveness Of The 'Hot Seat' Strategy In Teaching Arabic Grammar On Achievement According To Some Bloom's Taxonomy Levels Among Ninth-Grade Students In Jordan, Ibrahim Rababah

This study investigated the effectiveness of the 'hot seat' strategy in teaching Arabic grammar on student achievement, according to some Bloom's Taxonomy levels. The study employed a convenience sample of 51 ninth-grade students from a selected school. The sample was divided into two groups: a control group (27 students) and an experimental group (24 students). Results indicated a positive effect of the 'hot seat' strategy on student achievement in Arabic grammar, both overall and individually, across several Bloom's Taxonomy levels.

This study aimed to identify the level of emotional stability among Bethlehem University students and its relation to the following variables: gender, faculty, level of education, and place of residence. The researcher employed the descriptive research method for this study, which included 346 students randomly selected from Bethlehem University. A survey consisting of 71 statements was distributed to all 346 students. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, T-test, variance analysis, and LSD test. In this essay, the author uses the idea of transposition to reflect on Peter Beilharz and Sian Supski's historic visit to Eastern Michigan University and southeast Michigan in October 2024. Transposition is used to deprivatize Robbins's reflections to consider broader and more generalizable concerns relative to pedagogy and educational philosophy. Further, transposition, in this regard, provided a way to reflect on the (increased) importance of friendship in academia.

This paper reviews literature on trans* students' experiences in higher education, examining their obstacles and institutional approaches to inclusion. The study investigates challenges regarding chosen names and pronouns, access to facilities, extracurricular involvement, and the impact of increasing anti-trans* legislation. Despite growing visibility, trans* students continue to report harassment, discrimination, and a decreased sense of belonging. Visual models play a crucial role in both science and science communication. However, the distinction between mere analogies and mathematically sound graphical representations is not easy and can be misunderstood not only by laypeople but also within academic literature itself. Moreover, even when the graphical representation exactly corresponds to the mathematical model, its interpretation is often far from obvious. Many preoperative and postoperative cataract patients struggle with comprehending the use of prescription medication as directed. Language barriers and low health literacy levels are major factors contributing to improper use of prescriptions. To increase patients comprehension, the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute employed an educational intervention consisting of a live presentation and an instructional video. Results found that 44% of patients were hesitant to ask questions to clinical staff, 32% felt overwhelmed, and nearly 70% lacked confidence in using their prescribed eye drops. Following the intervention, 91% of patients reported increased confidence in their medications, and most indicated that the video …

This study examined the perceptions of counselors-in-training (CIT) on artificial intelligence (AI) in counseling practice and training. 31 CIT responded to three open-ended questions about the benefits, drawbacks, and overall attitudes of integrating AI into counseling practice and education. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the responses. The findings showed that CIT perceive AI as a clinical support tool, especially for tasks such as diagnosis and treatment planning. Additionally, CIT voiced concerns of potential overreliance on AI, ethical risks, confidentiality concerns, and the possible loss of human connection. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into mental health care presents innovative opportunities for therapeutic interventions. This pilot study examined the use of a customized Artificial Intelligence Therapeutic Adjunct (AITA) as a supplementary counseling tool for adults with level one autism spectrum disorder who attended weekly counseling sessions. Using a Single Subject Design to review trends in mental health symptoms and perceptions of the AITA, participants engaged with the AITA over four weeks, completed weekly anxiety and depression assessments, and post-intervention and satisfaction surveys.
