This study was made to determine the relationship between scores made on the Californis Physical Performance Test and the Academic Achievement of seventh grade girls in Springstowne Junior High School, Vallejo, California. A second purpose was to determine the relationship between the physical fitness test scores and social preference scores as indicated by a sociometric test.

The exploratory survey method was used to determine the extent to whole scientific knowledge, related to principles and practices of healthful living, was enhanced during the secondary school education of students attending four Seventh-day Adventist secondary schools in Hong Kong. The tool, in the form of a health knowledge test designed to fit the cultural patterns of the population, was applied to 358 Form I (grade 7) and Form V (grade 11) students of the specified schools. Many significant studies of reading readiness were under way at the direction of private, public, or federal funds, thus focusing attention on kindergarten and pre-kindergarten readiness. Because of this, many parents, teachers, and administrators showed keen interest in the possibilities of educating youngsters at the kindergarten and pre-kindergarten age. It was therefore felt that a study of this kind would be pertinent. Specifically, many persons wanted their five-year-olds to attend kindergarten in Chelan, Washington. Variety meats are the edible organ meats. They include liver, heart, tongue, brains, sweetbreads, kidneys, and tripe. They are excellent sources of protein and essential vitamins and minerals. They are often economical and offer interesting variations for meals. Other cuts which give variety to meals include oxtails and pig knuckles. These also offer flavor, food value and appetite appeal.
