โปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยถือเป็นเครื่องมือในการแก้ปัญหาความแปลกแยกและลดการพึ่งพาทางสังคมของผู้สูงอายุ และยังสร้างให้เกิดความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกระหว่างวัยจากการการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในลักษณะต่างตอบแทนของผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) วิเคราะห์ความต้องการจำเป็นในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็กผ่านโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยที่เหมาะสมกับบริบทไทย 2) พัฒนาหลักการออกแบบและต้นแบบโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก และ 3) ทดลองและประเมินผลการใช้ต้นแบบโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก และนำเสนอหลักการออกใหม่ที่ได้จากบทเรียนจากการวิจัย แบ่งการดำเนินวิจัยเป็น 3 ระยะตามวัตถุประสงค์การวิจัย โดยตัวอย่างในการวิจัยประกอบด้วยนักปฏิบัติจากในเมืองและนอกเมือง จำนวน 24 คน ตัวอย่างวิจัยระยะที่ 2 ประกอบด้วย นักวิชาการที่มีประสบการณ์ จำนวน 9 คน และ ตัวอย่างวิจัยในระยะที่ 3 ของการดำเนินการวิจัย คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุ 60-69 ปี และเด็กที่มีอายุระหว่าง 10-12 ปี อย่างละ 17 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ โปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา การวิเคราะห์โดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยาย ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความต้องการจำเป็นในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็กผ่านโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยที่เหมาะสมกับบริบทไทย พบว่า นักปฏิบัติควรได้รับการส่งเสริมทั้งสิ้น 4 ประการ คือที่ 1) ความตระหนักรู้ในความสำคัญของการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัย 2) ความต้องการจำเป็นด้านความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแนวคิดในการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัย 3) ความต้องการจำเป็นด้านทักษะการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างวัย 4) ความต้องการจำเป็นด้านความพร้อมในการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์เรียนรู้ระหว่างวัย หลักการออกแบบและต้นแบบโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยพัฒนาจากแนวคิดทฤษฎีการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยและแนวคิดการศึกษานอกระบบ ร่วมกับผลจากการระดมความคิดของนักปฏิบัติ ได้มาซึ่งร่างหลักการออกแบบตามแนวคิดของ Sandoval (2014) ซึ่งมีหลักการออกแบบทั่วไป 10 ประการ คือ 1) การสร้างความรู้สึกปลอดภัยในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมโดยให้สมาชิกที่การตัดสินด้วยตนเอง 2) การจัดกิจกรรมที่ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมมีความรู้สึกว่าสามารถทำกิจกรรมได้ง่ายและสนุก 3) การส่งเสริมให้เกิดความเข้าใจในความแตกต่างระหว่างวัย 4) การกำหนดบทบาทของการมีส่วนร่วมของพ่อแม่ในการสร้างการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัย 5) การจัดกิจกรรมที่ตอบสนองความต้องการของชุมชน 6) การจัดกิจกรรมที่ตอบสนองตามความต้องการของข้อเสนอของผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก 7) การใช้การสื่อสารเชิงบวกในการจัดกิจกรรม 8) การส่งเสริมให้เกิดความเชื่อถือไว้วางใจกันของสมาชิกที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม 9) การสร้างเงื่อนไขและสถานการณ์ที่ทำให้ผู้สูงอายุและเด็กมาพบและทำกิจกรรมร่วมกัน 10) การส่งเสริมศักยภาพในการจัดกิจกรรมของนักปฏิบัติในพื้นที่เพื่อให้สามารถพึ่งพาตนเองในการจัดโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัยได้ด้วยตนเองและยั่งยืน ผลการทดลองและประเมินผลการใช้ต้นแบบโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ระหว่างวัย พบว่า ช่วยส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้สูงอายุและเด็ก โดยส่งผลให้เกิดตัวแปรผลลัพธ์ 7 ตัวแปรย่อย ได้แก่ ความเข้าใจและยอมรับในความแตกต่างระหว่างวัย อันนำมาซึ่งทัศนคติที่ดีต่อคนต่างวัย 2) มุมมองเชิงคุณค่าต่อคนต่างวัย 3) ความผูกพันธ์ระหว่างวัย …

The central purpose of this project is to assess the degree of alignment between the MSW curriculum and the needs of field partners, and, if applicable, to identify ways to enhance that alignment through upcoming curriculum revisions. This report draws on three sources of data: an electronic survey distributed in June 2020 to all people who served as field instructors and/or task supervisors (N: 135 respondents), interviews with a sample of 20 field instructors (N:20), and an electronic survey distributed in October 2020 by the MSW Program Director to all MSW instructors (N:38). Since the 1980s, the population of women prisoners incarcerated in the state of California had significantly increased by 500% more than that of the male prisoners. The United States had more incarcerated women than any other country. Along with this alarming rise in female incarceration, recidivism rates were also higher among female inmates. This problem has negatively affected women in California; whereas 57% of the women released from prison were rearrested within three to seven years. Background: Gallup (2013) reported that 30% of the U.S. workforce was not engaged in their work which means they were not reaching their full potential or productivity level. For organizations, lost productivity due to absenteeism or less than ideal performance at work impacts company performance and bottom line. Employee assistance programs are a resource to help increase employee health, productivity, and satisfaction through counseling interventions. Serious games incorporate learning objectives in the context of competitive games with rules. These types of games have been incorporated in education as well as therapeutic contexts. This study examined the effectiveness of a modification of the game “Snakes and Ladders,” for reviewing and learning qualitative research concepts. Using the Game-based Evaluation Model (GEM), the researchers also measured learning indicators such as interest and enjoyment, perceived competence, effort and importance, and value/usefulness. Thirty-eight Master of Occupational Therapy students completed a 25-question multiple choice pretest to measure knowledge of qualitative research concepts before playing the game. งานวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะและพัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมของกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเพื่อสร้างเสริมสุขภาวะที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ โดยผู้วิจัยทบทวนเอกสาร งานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง และเก็บข้อมูลเชิงลึกผ่านการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มกับตัวอย่างในการศึกษาแนวทาง คือ อาจารย์ระดับอุดมศึกษาที่สอนวิชาภาพพิมพ์ จำนวน 3 คน ศิลปินภาพพิมพ์ จำนวน 3 คน ผู้จัดกิจกรรมนันทนาการสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 3 คน ผู้อำนวยการสถานสงเคราะห์คนชรา จำนวน 1 คน ผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 2 คน จากนั้นนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์เป็นชุดกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 5 กิจกรรม โดยนำชุดกิจกรรมไปทดลองใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการทดลองใช้กิจกรรม คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60 - 79 ปี ที่ยังมีร่างกายแข็งแรง สามารถช่วยเหลือตนเองได้ โดยไม่จำแนกเพศในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล โดยการรับสมัครผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมตามความสนใจและสมัครใจ จำนวน 20 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบสัมภาษณ์สำหรับอาจารย์ระดับอุดมศึกษาที่สอนวิชาภาพพิมพ์ 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์สำหรับศิลปินภาพพิมพ์ 3) แบบสัมภาษณ์สำหรับผู้จัดกิจกรรมนันทนาการสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 4) แบบสัมภาษณ์สำหรับผู้อำนวยการสถานสงเคราะห์คนชรา และผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุ 5) ชุดกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาวะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 6) แบบประเมินการสูงวัยอย่างมีสุขภาวะผ่านชุดกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาวะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 7) แบบสำรวจความคิดเห็นของผู้สูงอายุต่อชุดกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาวะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ 8) แบบสัมภาษณ์สำหรับผู้สูงอายุที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในพื้นที่เขตกรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล เพื่อสำรวจข้อคิดเห็นหลังเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษ 9) แบบบันทึกผลการทดลองสำหรับผู้วิจัย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ชุดกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเพื่อส่งเสริมสุขภาวะสำหรับผู้สูงอายุที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีทั้งหมด 5 กิจกรรม ได้แก่ 1) ทำสีพิมพ์ 2) พิมพ์ภาพด้วยการพับ 3) พิมพ์ภาพด้วยกระดาษลัง 4) พิมพ์ภาพผ่านช่องฉลุ 5) พิมพ์ภาพผ่านร่องลึก ซึ่งผู้สูงอายุที่เข้าร่วมทำกิจกรรมมีผลการประเมินสุขภาวะของผู้สูงอายุหลังทำกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ปลอดสารพิษเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับดีมากที่ 3.32 และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานมีค่าการกระจายตัวน้อยอยู่ที่ 0.19 สามารถแปลผลได้ว่า ในด้านร่างกาย ผู้สูงอายุสามารถทำกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ได้โดยไม่ใช้กำลังมากจนก่อให้เกิดความเหนื่อยล้า ในด้านจิตใจ ผู้สูงอายุรู้สึกดีต่อการทำกิจกรรมศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ มีความเพลิดเพลิน สามารถจดจำกระบวนการเรียนรู้ทางศิลปะภาพพิมพ์ได้ และมีความพึงพอใจในผลงงานของตนเอง ในด้านสังคม ผู้สูงอายุและลูกหลานหรือเพื่อนมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ที่ดีต่อกันช่วยเหลือซึ่งกันและกัน …

This study aims to determine: (1) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with assertive training techniques to increase the nature of abasement, (2) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with shaping techniques to reduce the nature of aggression, and (3) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with self-management techniques to increase the nature of endurance. Interpreting The Data: Reflections On Asl-English Cross Language Research, Serena Johnson

The Qualitative Report

Cross language research typically ignores the role the translator and translation play in the research process. This paper adds to the literature by examining some of the challenges experienced during the translation and interpretation aspect of research. This autoethnography explores the positionality of a non-native user of American Sign Language who conducted research with native American Sign Language users. Findings indicate that translation and interpretation in research is not simply a matter of rote process and deserves more attention as an integral aspect of cross-language research.

The purpose of this study is to examine nursing students’ (n = 18) perceptions of interrelating with older adults to understand how such interactions might improve students’ levels of cultural competence and enhance their future nursing practice. Additionally, the study sought to contribute to a higher level of technological competency in older adults.

Design/methodology/approach

A basic qualitative study design (Merriam and Tisdell, 2016) was used to direct the data collection and analysis to achieve the aims of this study.

The relationships between social network centrality, social construction of knowledge, and nurse practitioner competency among adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner students participating in asynchronous online discussions were explored. Social network centralities (betweenness, in-degree, out-degree, closeness, and eigenvector) were determined through social network analysis. Social construction of knowledge was assessed by the Interaction Analysis Model (IAM). Nurse practitioner competency was evaluated using the Novice to Expert model.
