The Pentagram

Welcome to the verse of a bunch of guys who think writing should be part of every educated man's experience. We are a group sanctioned by none, other than our own selves, sanctioned with our own belief that we have something to say. Spend a few minutes with us. Be you science student, English student, agriculture student, whatever your forte we believe there is interest for you in the following pages.

Who are we? Students too. But students egotistical enough to want to have our ideas, any ideas, spread throughout a few minds other than our own. We have talked …

Spring 1967 3d Version Jan 1967

Spring 1967 3d Version

Calliope (1954-2001)

This issue was distributed as a soup can, using the familiar Campbell's Soup can image. Andy Warhol had created art from Campbell's Soup cans in 1962. The printed issue itself was rolled up inside the can, and that too was very creative. The download button will provide various images of this soup can and its contents.

The editor and staff of Calliope acknowledge the contributions of Bermingham & Prosser Co., Central Michigan Paper Co. Continental Can Co. IBM Corp. and Peninsula Paper Co.

Primary Concerns In The Poetry Of Robert Frost, La Verne Murphy

Masters Theses & Specialist Projects

The purpose of this study is to classify the poems' themes and to reveal frequency patterns, thereby disclosing Frost's heaviest interests. The study is limited to an analysis of the poems contained in the Complete Poems, which includes most of his poetry. The Masque of Reason and The Masque of Mercy, appearing at the end of the Complete Poems, are not included in the study because they are allegorical poem-plays of the Job and Jonah stories respectively. While the study is confined primarily to an interpretation of the poems themselves, important critical studies relating to the themes are …
