RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspapers, Montage. The issue of April 20, 1973 includes articles on COLAB 4, summer sessions at RISD, Ingmar Bergman's film "Cries and Whispers," and a Painting department meeting, along with a comic "Totsie and Otto" by Doug Thayer, the RISD Index, creative work, event notices, and other announcements.

RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspapers, Montage. The issue of April 8, 1973 had contained an article about students confronting Dean Lay, RISD Dean of Students with a petition of 500 students signatures to keep Harry Beckwith as faculty in the Graphic Design department. 100 students met with Dean Lay on March 28, 1973. Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.
