Winona Campus Life
Winona Campus Life was a weekly laboratory newspaper produced by the WSU Mass Communciation Department students and printed as a supplement to the Sunday Winona Daily News, which began in September 1983. The newspaper provided coverage of the four institutions of higher education in Winona: Winona State University, St. Mary's University, College of Saint Teresa, and Winona Area Vocational-Technical School. It was created to provide a place for Mass Communcation students to publish their articles and photographs with the idea of generating reader feedback, which is essential in journalism education.

Beyond The Party-Group Continuum: Massachusetts Interest Groups In The 1980s, John C. Berg
Beyond The Party-Group Continuum: Massachusetts Interest Groups In The 1980s, John C. Berg
New England Journal of Public Policy

However, group conflict and citizen mobilization, including increased use of the initiative and referendum, create a situation of interest-centered conflict rather than interest-group dominance as traditionally conceived. This article, based on a 1987 survey of state legislators and legislative aides, plus a summary of recent Massachusetts political history, assesses …
