Recent environmental and sustainability standards in procurement increase short-term production and operational costs to suppliers, which are often recouped by charging price premiums for innovative solutions. However, public buyers are less likely to pay such price premiums, resulting in a disincentive among suppliers to bid for innovation (unique) contracts. This article examines how innovation procurement stimulates network emergence to mitigate innovation costs and facilitate suppliers' sustainable innovation capacity. Tourist activities may harm the environment, making tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior particularly important in tourism research. This research investigates the persuasion effect of message framing in environmental protection reminders on environmentally responsible behavior. Through five studies employing both field and controlled experiments and different measures of environmentally responsible behavior across varied tourism scenarios, we demonstrate that negatively (vs. positively) framed messages more effectively increase environmentally responsible behavior. Specifically, negatively framed messages are more effective in enhancing tourists’ environmental awareness, which triggers more environmentally responsible behavior. The aim of this study is to develop a comprehensive set of indicators for monitoring and measuring sustainability in the hotel industry in Malaysia. It gives special attention to the environmental, social, resiliene and economic dimensions. This study applies the Delphi method by interviewing three key stakeholder groups—hotel managers, academicians, and hotel staff—in two rounds, in order to assess and validate indicators identified from the literature. Building upon game-based learning, this study compares hospitality students’ cognition, metacognition, engagement, satisfaction, and performance in a course across two academic terms at an Australian university. One term featured teaching content without any games while the second term incorporated gamification. A quasi-experimental design was used in which surveys, interviews and students’ evaluation reports were utilized. Students demonstrated more favorable cognitive thoughts, and higher levels of engagement and satisfaction in the gamified course. This study investigates the motivational factors which influence future crisis planning intentions, by utilising the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) as the underlying theoretical framework. The clustering of tourist accidents is a critical yet underexplored area of research. This study employs cluster theory and safety system theory to develop a comprehensive measurement tool for analysing tourist accident clusters, examining their spatiotemporal evolution patterns, and identifying the driving mechanisms from a holistic destination perspective. By analysing accident records of Chinese outbound tourists across 48 countries from 2011 to 2019, the findings reveal a reduction in disparities among tourist accident clusters (α-convergence effect) and a fluctuating trend over time. This study applies the Resource-Based View (RBV) to explore how strategic, tactical, and internal green marketing orientations foster employee service innovation behaviour in the hospitality sector. It examines green trust and responsibility feelings as key internal resources and investigates their mediating roles. Using PLS-SEM analysis on 778 responses from Malaysian hotel employees, the findings indicate that internal green marketing orientation significantly enhances green trust and responsibility feelings, which, in turn, positively influence employee service innovation behaviour. Purpose: This paper aims to explore how biomimetic principles can inform governance models for agentic artificial intelligence (AI) systems, autonomous, adaptive entities that challenge traditional oversight frameworks. This study examined how workplace telepressure and cyber incivility, as work-related stressors, affect individual and work-related outcomes in hospitality employees, using a mixed-methods approach. After developing a draft, following a thorough literature review and interviews with hotel staff, the drafted questions were refined through a pre-test and a pilot test. This study investigated the moderating role of green organizational support in the nexus between entrepreneurial leadership and sustainable business performance. This study introduces the concept of perceived realism to (film) tourism studies and examines its effect in combination with place attachment on residents' support for and involvement in film tourism development. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) and fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) were applied to a sample of 401 Barcelona residents to explore both symmetrical and asymmetrical relationships among the research constructs. This paper explores public servants’ public service motivation through the prism of the circumplex model of affect (CMA). The application of CMA to work, and specifically public sector contexts, is relatively novel, and the framework helps explain how multiple states of affect (i.e., comprised of underlying feelings, emotions, and moods) cluster together and are shaped by one’s work environment. The mixed method paper begins with a qualitative study of Australasian public servants, presenting evidence of the CMA and its connection to PSM. Omnichannel distribution integrates multiple sales channels into a single management platform to enhance customer experience. However, the complexity of consumer behavior data across channels often prevents business owners from effectively analyzing and predicting sales. This study proposes a sales prediction model in omnichannel distribution systems based on consumer behavior using a collaborative approach that integrates process mining and autoregressive integrated moving average with exogenous variables (ARIMAX). Purpose: This study aims to assess the key determinants influencing Morocco’s international tourism demand to guide the development of an effective national tourism policy aligned with the country’s 2023–2026 tourism roadmap. By analyzing tourist arrivals (TA) from 45 source countries between 2000 and 2022, the research identifies economic and non-economic factors critical to achieving the target of 17.5 million tourists. Priority areas include pricing, infrastructure, security, governance and climate risk resilience.
