Agricultural Development And Potential Markets In Singapore, Malaysia And Indonesia - Report Of A Study Tour, K R. Rutter
Agricultural Development And Potential Markets In Singapore, Malaysia And Indonesia - Report Of A Study Tour, K R. Rutter
All other publications
The study tour of Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia was undertaken as part of the Government of Western Australia'a policy to broaden overseas markets for agricultural products. Preliminary examinations of these economies suggest that each represents a potentially large market given their large populations and levels of foreign reserves. Malaysia and Indonesia in particular have large reserves of petroleum, minerals and timber which provide their economies with the necessary foreign reserves to finance imports. Singapore relies on its strategic position as and entrepot port for its foreign reserves.

Management Science And The Development Of Human Resource Accounting, Shahid L. Ansari, Diana Troik Flamholtz
Accounting Historians Journal
A common misconception about human resource accounting (HRA) is that it focuses narrowly upon financial accounting, that its purpose is to reflect the asset value of people on financial statements. The major purpose of HRA is to provide concepts and measurements to facilitate the effective and efficient management of human resources. It, therefore, represents a management accounting development.

Some Boundary Considerations In The Application Of Motivation Models, Bronston T. Mayes
Some Boundary Considerations In The Application Of Motivation Models, Bronston T. Mayes
Department of Management: Faculty Publications
From the actor's perspective, a behavioral environment can be typified by two continuous dimensions, knowledge of potential outcomes and knowledge of causal relationships among environmental elements. These dimensions determine the situational ambiguity perceived by the actor. Expectancy, equity, operant conditioning, and attitude theories of motivation are considered in such ambiguous environments. Propositions are set forth which allow the researcher to select the most predictive motivation model

Hsus Spotlights Circus Cruelty
Close Up Reports
Who can deny the sense of excitement the young and the young-at-heart feel when the circus comes to town? The sounds, smells, and attractions create a fantasy world where everything is fun.
But is it all good clean fun? Evidence in recent years suggests quite the contrary. The worst problems seem to be with the smaller circuses. In the past year, The HSUS has assisted several local societies investigating cruelty to animals in traveling circuses, rescued elephants and lions abandoned by a circus, and signed three complaints against one of the largest of today's small big tops.
