That no educators are satisfied with the reading accomplishments in our schools is attested by the great number of articles on reading that appear in current periodicals and educational journals and by the increasing number of books on reading that are being published. A Search For A Universally Valid Criterion As A Basis For Musical Criticism, Allan Bacon

University of the Pacific Theses and Dissertations

The object of this thesis is neither to prove nor to disprove any specific theory or theories, but to conduct an impartial investigation into the fields of musical history and of musical criticism, and to allow such facts as may be ascertained to speak for themselves. Atheistic Diagnoses Of The Coming Age, W. H. Dau Nov 1933

Atheistic Diagnoses Of The Coming Age, W. H. Dau

Concordia Theological Monthly

There is on undefined fear working on the minds of good Christian people throughout the world in our day. The North American Republic has achieved notable success in a political way and has unquestionably decided the fortunes of the great World War. Relative Scholastic Success Of College Students From High Schools Of Varying Sizes, Leonard Lee Hudson Aug 1933

Relative Scholastic Success Of College Students From High Schools Of Varying Sizes, Leonard Lee Hudson

Masters Theses & Specialist Projects

Education in America has made substantial growth in its various phases. No factor has been more marked than in the secondary field. The South was tardy in establishing a systematic scheme owing to the devastation of a Civil War and the misunderstandings natural to a reconstruction period. Many forces for the improvement of the secondary field in this section are now accomplishing wonderful results. Accrediting associations to investigate, recommend, and regulate certain practices, different divisions of the state department of education to supervise and inspect, research organizations, graduate schools, and school authorities are adding to the fund of knowledge regarding …
