New media technology is now present everywhere in our society. This technology has a large impact on individuals with and without access to it. In the following paper, I will discuss issues of access and new media technology from history to present day. This is an effort to combine both of my majors - Sociology and Communications - into a work which could easily be expanded upon for graduate studies.
