The paper calls for a return to ancient knowledge left by our Kemetian ancestors about what it means to be human as well as the insights they gave about the purpose of human existence. The insights offered have the potential to provide a critical underpinning of educational processes designed for African leaders in the 21st century. The author shares her own vision for Africa, inherent in which are strategies for economic growth and poverty alleviation centred in the development of the African consciousness.
