In this paper I studied the status and usage of library resources and services and library use opinion about library working hours, library physical facilities, library information sources and service of K L (Koneru Lakshmaiah Educational Foundation) University, Vijayawada. The collection development, library membership, staff position, working hours, library automation, services offered and availability of online resources are also discussed. A well structured questionnaire was managed to 300 faculty members, Research scholars and post graduation students to collect the primary data from respondents. The digital revolution is transforming and changing the nature of higher education and learning practices in Kenya. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to universities libraries in Kenya expose a variety of cutting edge digital technology systems to support the development of higher education and learning practices. ABSTRACT

The study investigated if homophily-heterophily consciousness and staff quality, could correlate with effective reference services. The study made use of three objectives, three research questions and four hypotheses. It adopted the descriptive design of the correlation type which seeks to establish the relationship that exists between two or more variables. A total of 1,500 undergraduate students were selected from nine universities in North Central Nigeria using proportionate sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire with three subscales which were used for data collection. This study investigates the management and preservation of non-book materials at the University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University and Ladoke Akintola University.
