Ineffective communication between organizations and students leads to misconceptions as well as low organizational awareness, in both their existence and causes. Organizations tend to be too passive in their recruiting techniques. Communication education and training can aid organizations in becoming more effective at marketing to students and bridging the gap between potential members. Organizations fight for the attention of students to increase enrollment but in order to create initial student curiosity and involvement organizations must spark interest. To answer the question of how the Jesus film exemplifies media globalization, the author uses a critical review of globalization literature to look at the history of the Jesus film, how the film is an agent of cultural deposition, the technological and cultural influences of the film, the translations of the film, common critiques of the film, and the display of globalization in its production, promotion and use.

Dying is a process that all must face. No one is left untouched by death. Research reveals that preparation and using hope as a coping strategy can help make the process easier on the dying and bereaved. These strategies are more difficult to employ when the dying person is a young adult in what should be the prime of life. The purpose of this project is to gain a better understanding of how young adults with terminal illness prepare for death so that professionals can better serve that population.

Poverty is an epidemic that is affecting millions of students in the United States. This literature review reports on issues pertaining to middle level students and how these students are affected by poverty. We examined 10 resources, including education books and empirical articles in academic journals, to report on findings and make recommendations for middle level educators about how to improve a child’s chances of rising above poverty.
