Ebookmobile: Delivering Subject-Specific Ebooks To Your Inbox, Kathryn Lybarger

Today's users are overloaded by the massive amount of information available to them, even within their own library's collection. Ebooks cataloged in batches of hundreds (or thousands) make a generic new ebook shelf prohibitively large and mostly uninteresting to a subject researcher. The Ebookmobile helps researchers become aware of new ebooks in the library collection in their specific area of interest, so they can start using them immediately. Ebookmobile checks the Voyager database daily for newly cataloged ebooks and creates feeds for ranges in a classification scheme.
