In October 2009, survey invitations were emailed via the OpenDOAR email service to 778 Institutional Repositories that met the OpenDOAR parameters of "content type=articles" and "repository type=institution". One hundred twenty-one completed online survey responses were collected from October 12 - November 12, 2009 using the SurveyMonkey tool.
