Georgia, Iowa Lead Oclc Campaign For Increased Library Support

The article reports on the campaign of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) that seeks to promote awareness of the needs of local libraries and increase support for their services. The campaign was funded by the Bill & Belinda Gates Foundation and will be run at selected areas in Georgia and Iowa. Libraries fear that the recesison may bring further budget cuts.

The program is intended to have positive results for both participating librarians and the professional at large.
