This study explored how librarians in Delta and Edo University libraries used social media to promote their services and resources. The study's population consisted of 127 librarians from federal, state, and private university libraries in the Delta and Edo states. The entire enumeration sample approach was used in the investigation. The data were examined with simple percentages, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics (the mean was set at 2.50). This study investigates the awareness and utilization of Open-Source Software (OSS) for library automation within the context of University Libraries in Pakistan. Through a comprehensive survey of University Librarians, the research explores the extent of OSS adoption, with a focus on specific systems such as Koha and SLiMS. The findings show a high level of awareness and active use of OSS, particularly Koha, in library automation processes. Public sector universities demonstrate a greater inclination towards OSS adoption compared to private and semi-government institutions. The SKMC Office of the Dean through its Graduate Medical Education (GME) Section identified a need for more comprehensive support for GME research efforts. The American Library Association provides a form for librarians to share challenges to library materials for the purposes of gathering data and providing support. In the face of increasing challenges to library materials, some states have also developed local procedures for gathering information and providing local support. In 2023, the presenters distributed a survey to gather information from states, territories, and tribal nations that do not publicly share their procedures to document efforts. This presentation will share the preliminary survey results showing differences across entities, lessons learned, and areas for future research.

The study investigated the creativity of librarians as determinant of job performance in some selected polytechnic libraries in Delta State. The study adopted a descriptive survey using questionnaire to collect data. The population of the study consists of 45 librarians. A total of 45 questionnaires were distributed only 33 were retrieved using descriptive statistics, the mean and percentage of the data were calculated. This session presented the results of 113 academic librarians surveyed regarding their views on social justice advocacy. As part of a mixed-methods exploration, quantitative, qualitative, and integrated elements were revealed. Beyond a comprehensive survey administered, librarian advocates describe how they approach issues of social justice, what the benefits are of addressing inequities within academic libraries, what barriers they've encountered in their advocacy efforts and initiatives, and what advice a more experienced advocate might offer to a peer with less knowledge who is interested in becoming more involved.

The study evaluated the effects of job stress on job performance of librarians in selected public university libraries in Nigeria. This paper explained the influence of technological readiness on adoption of artificial intelligence technology, using data collected through Google form from 52 librarians in Nigeria. The study adopted descriptive survey research design and adapted the Technological Readiness Index 2.0 to design structured questionnaire on level of technological readiness among librarians in Nigeria. In addition, data was collected on demographic factors and prevalent artificial intelligent technologies adopted by the librarians. The academic library that failed to reskill members of its workforce might face consequences of automatic loss of patrons. Based on this, the study examined reskilling librarians as a panacea for bringing students back to the library. 191 academic and research librarians (ARL) on the telegram group platform as of February 14, 2023, formed the population.
