In Union County, there is a significant problem of economic insecurity that is not widely known among Bucknell students. Economic insecurity has a profound impact on people's lives, particularly in the area. It can lead to food insecurity, poor health outcomes, and limited access to education and job opportunities, perpetuating a cycle of poverty. From my podcast episode, I was hoping to gain a better understanding of how the local Lewisburg community and its residents view Bucknell students and how they may positively and negatively impact the local area. I want my audience to walk away with a better understanding of how the local community may view us as well as different ways we can improve as a campus community.
