It is the intent of this paper to examine the relationship between Jeffrey Dahmer's Childhood neglect, his fascination with death, and its later influence on his adult psychopathic behavior. After defining the nature of serial killers and the impact of childhood abuse combined with a fascination with death, the focus of this case study will shift to the long term impact of the abuse and neglect suffered by American serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.
