Positive Psychology Assignment: Character Strengths, Ann Marie Yali

This assignment is designed to help students to work with their character strengths as defined by the VIA (values in action) survey, mimicking a research protocol that found some benefits for well-being. Students will then compare their own "results" from the exercise to the published results and compare findings. Assignments like this then stimulate class discussion around issues that might be leading to similarities and/or differences in the student vs. researcher results.
