ABSTRACT This study examined librarians’ attitude towards the use of ICT in selected academic libraries in Kwara State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population of the study consist of all the librarians in University of Ilorin, Kwara State University and Al-hikma University which gives a total number of 51 librarians. Snowball sampling method was used to locate seventeen (17) participants for this study in Ghana. Mixed methods were used for data collection; questionnaire (open-ended questions) and interview. The data was analyzed using the thematic analysis technique. This study investigated the combined correlational effects of motivation, emotional intelligence and human capital development on the job satisfaction of librarians in Nigerian public universities. A correlational survey research design was adopted. The study population consisted of 1,254 librarians in public university libraries in Nigeria, from which 923 were selected using simple random sampling. The research instrument used was a self-developed questionnaire. A response rate of 67.2% was achieved.
