Abstract
Adolescence is a transitory period in every human developmental process. The adolescent age is characterized by changes in the world view as such are exposed to making experiments. This could be as a result of peer influence that leads to a delinquent act of substance use. Substance use among adolescents in Nigeria is increasing at an alarming rate with risks on health which has become a global issue of concern.
