The purpose of this study was to see if the Play With Purpose program will provide the 00-01 Lynn University women's basketball team with necessary tools to increase personal growth, and aide in developing a healthy self-esteem.

To research this subject matter a survey was conducted. The survey was administered to the 2000-2001 Lynn University's Women's Basketball team. Based on race, religion, and socio-economic background it was felt that the team represented a wide spectrum of collegiate athletes.

The purposes of this research were to determine: 1.) if sexual harassment policies, content, communication and subsequent related training, or lack thereof, subject South Florida community colleges to legal risk; and 2.) the perceptions of how sexual harassment policies and procedures affect students and faculty, their interactions, and how students learn and how faculty teaches, being mindful of a possible cultural component.

The purpose of this phenomenological study was to assess, through naturalistic inquiry, the differences between and relationships among coping strategies of parents of murdered or abducted, long-term missing children, where the offender was non-familial. Multiple data sources were used to examine two areas: The perceptive differences of coping among parents of murdered children in contrast to parents of abducted, long-term missing children, where the offender was non-familial; and the ways in which coping strategies of parents of murdered children differ from the coping strategies of parents of abducted, long-term missing children, where the offender was non-familial.

This dissertation, through an historical study, attempts to give the reader a clear depiction of different types of investment strategies. The four diverse investment strategies, as compared to the Optimal Strategy, were tested from December 1, 1997, through January 30, 2001 Three years of daily closing price data was obtained and utilized within a simulated model. Ten stocks, from ten diverse sectors, listed on the S&P 500 as well as the National Association of Investment Clubs (NAIC) 1999 Individual Investor's Top 100 Index, were analyzed and evaluated for each investment strategy over the duration of the study.
