A major concern in dealing with multi-agent complex adaptive systems is the understanding of how such systems build order in the midst of an otherwise chaotic universe. The ordering principles of such systems that are found at the biological level can be applied to better understanding human organizations, and can also be used to develop or modify highly complex intelligent agent software systems for greater efficacy.
