Electronic health records (EHR) are introduced into healthcare organizations worldwide to improve patient safety, healthcare quality and efficiency. A rigorous evaluation of this technology is important to reduce potential negative effects on patient and staff, to provide decision makers with accurate information for system improvement and to ensure return on investment. This paper presents the development methodology of linear regression models that were developed for the prediction of annual thermal loads in representative residential buildings across three major climates in New South Wales, Australia, and the assessment of the impact of building envelope upgrades. A differential sensitivity analysis was undertaken for sixteen building envelope parameters, with six parameters being identified as significant. These six parameters were then explored using EnergyPlus simulation, and a number of linear regression models developed from the simulation outputs. This paper presents the simulation and performance evaluation of a ground source heat pump (GSHP) system integrated with water-based solar photovoltaic thermal (PVT) collectors for residential buildings. A dynamic simulation system is developed using TRNSYS and used to facilitate the performance evaluation of the system. A 20-year life-time performance simulation is performed under three operation scenarios with different sizes of the PVT collectors. The results showed that the performance of the system is highly dependent on the size of the PVT collectors. This study aimed to identify risk factors in medication management in Australian residential aged care (RAC) homes. Only 18 out of 3,607 RAC homes failed aged care accreditation standard in medication management between 7th March 2011 and 25th March 2015. Text data mining methods were used to analyse the reasons for failure. This led to the identification of 21 risk indicators for an RAC home to fail in medication management. These indicators were further grouped into ten themes. They are overall medication management, medication assessment, ordering, dispensing, storage, stock and disposal, administration, incident report, monitoring, staff and resident satisfaction. The …

In Australia the majority of the current residential building stock has been constructed with little regard to energy consumption or thermal comfort. With only 1-2 % of Australia's building stock being replaced each year retrofitting solutions are necessary if residential energy consumption is to be reduced. Australia's records of the characteristics of its current building stock are minimal and outdated and thus these need to be renewed to enable the evaluation of retrofit upgrade strategies.
