Package exams provides a framework for automatic generation of standardized statistical exams which is especially useful for large-scale exams. To employ the tools, users just need to supply a pool of exercises and a master file controlling the layout of the final PDF document. The exercises are specified in separate Sweave files (containing R code for data generation and LaTeX code for problem and solution description) and the master file is a LaTeX document with some additional control commands. While there are several studies which discuss travel behaviour of senior travellers, there is limited discussion of the travel habits of generation Y. The objective of this paper is to profile Generation Y based on their travel attitudes and behaviour in order to better understand this segment. This research utilizes data provided by the Roy Morgan Research Centre in Australia (RMRC). The data were collected in 2006 and 2007 from a large sample of 46,000 Australian respondents. Personal Response Systems are a technology similar to use to a television remote control or a mobile telephone for sending SMS messages. They enable almost instant communication between student and instructor in lecture situations. This paper examines the claims made by Personal Response Systems and considers whether they may be especially appropriate to the preferences and expectations of Net- Generation students.
