This poster will discuss how library support for article processing charge (APC) funds has changed since the first fund (as documented by SPARC) was established in 2005. The paper will also cover insights from one institution's implementation of an APC fund in 2018 and how that fund is serving as one method in a suite of tools to engage the campus community on the topic of open access more generally.

Cataloging Three-Dimensional Artifacts and Realia Highlights:
- Cataloger’s judgement is essential
- The Bibliographic Format is “Visual Materials”
- Usually title is the main entry and most of the time cataloger supplies a title
- For a piece of art, main entry could be the creator
- For Type (Type of record) field we usually use “r” for three-dimensional artifact or naturally occurring object and “o” for kits
- For TMat (Type of material) field we usually use “r” for realia, “g” games, “w” toys, “a” art original, “c” art reproduction, “d” diorama, “p” microscope slide, “q” model, and “b’’ for kits

This training introduced the large-scale approach to describing multi-page digital compound objects. It was developed to disambiguate and clarify the new approach of describing compound objects in Project client/ContentDm. The training focused on important metadata fields, provided practical examples and instructed student assistants and staff how to apply the new rules consistently across all collections. The training session was followed by hands-on activities and discussion.

The number of English Language Learners (ELLs) in elementary and secondary education continues to increase and diversify. To serve the needs of this student population, both P12 school libraries and university level curriculum materials libraries must modify their collections to prepare ELL students and classroom educators for success. One such college library recently undertook a project in which we surveyed the literature and current practice regarding ELL collections and services. In 2020, 10 womxn from a variety of racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds formed an unique support network for faculty librarians hired between June 2019-July 2020 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Libraries (Fig 1 & 2 & Table 1). The group benefits from diverse voices and unique perspectives. We consist of early and mid-career academic librarian, newly relocated staff, womxn of color, and members of the LGBTQ+ community (Fig 2 & Table 1).
