The study investigated maximizing Technology Acceptance Model in accessing the attitude of rural farmers using ICT tools in farming to enhance productivity. Using a positivist philosophical perspective, this study adopted the survey research design to respectively 210 registered level 300 distance education students of both universities pursuing Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED). The study aimed to determine the information resources provided to remote clients by the distance education academic libraries in Gauteng Province of South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic. The positivism research paradigm anchored this paper and used the quantitative research approach. Microsoft Form was used to design the questionnaire to collect data from the academic library staff. The study looked at the impact of library technology on the academic performance of Nigerian university distance education undergraduates. A descriptive survey design was used in this investigation. The study was based on two research topics. The survey included 698 participants from Nigeria's recognized universities. Because the study's population size can be controlled, there was no need for sampling. The data collection instrument was a 39-item structured questionnaire produced by the researchers titled: Library technology on Academic Performance of Distance Education Questionnaire (TAPDEQ). This survey examines the familiarity of students at Virtual University of Shiraz (VUS), as a first virtual institution in Iran, with the concept and importance of digital libraries. To do this research, a descriptive and survey methodology was used. Students of Virtual University of Shiraz in comprise the population of the study. Findings showed that more than 66 percent of distance students are not familiar with the concept of digital library. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of taking advantage of electronic books on the academic progress of students at Payame Noor University, Iran. This research is of descriptive and survey methodology. The statistical population includes the students of public administration in Shiraz Payame Noor University, who are studying in the academic year 2013-2014. 142 students have been chosen by simple random sampling.

Distance librarians as engaged professionals work in a complex environment of changes in technologies, user expectations, and institutional goals. They strive to keep current with skills and competencies to support distance learners. This article provides a selection of continuing education opportunities for distance librarians, and is relevant for all practicing librarians. Nebraska’s rural school districts have a rapidly growing Spanish-speaking student body and few qualified instructors to meet their educational needs. This investigation examined factors that promote and challenge the ability of rural Nebraska paraprofessional educators to complete an online B.S. program in elementary education, with a K-12 English as a second language endorsement. Interviews focused on the interface between school, work, and family, with special attention on family system change and adaptation. Twenty-six bilingual paraprofessional educators enrolled (or formerly enrolled) in the education program were interviewed. The authors conducted a survey of distance librarian-administrators at Association of Research Libraries member libraries who plan for and manage distance learning library services. Survey questions included: What resources and services do ARL libraries currently offer to distance learners? What changes are being planned for in the immediate future? With libraries experiencing flattened budgets, what will be the impact on distance learners? Findings from the survey will inform librarian- administrators and library deans/directors of the current state of, and emerging trends in, distance learning library services.

As academic libraries and librarians experience an increasingly complex higher education environment, it is essential to market library resources and services effectively. One component of a library’s marketing plan for distance learners can be an assessment of the needs of distance faculty. Teaching faculty are influential in affecting student perceptions and their use of the library. This paper reports on an assessment of the needs of faculty who teach classes in distance graduate degree programs. Results from the survey provide strategic direction for delivering and marketing services to distance learners and distance faculty.
