This paper will concentrate on the local influence governments have had on sweatshop factories in developing countries. Based on the literature reviewed and analyzed, it was important to discuss several topics surrounding government influence. Topics covered in this paper include: the ethics behind sweatshops, workers’ wages and their choices, government responsibility, and then ending with introducing the Framing Theory. This particular theory was useful in part because of the method implemented in this research paper.
